Welcome to Bugamvilias
Bugamvilias is a travel podcast inspired by the vibrant Bougainvillea flower, a symbol of resilience, strength, and beauty. The Bougainvillea blooms with vivid colors that stand out much like how, as a woman of color, I bring my vibrant essence into every space. Women of color possess the power to grow, create, and live our own unique experiences, no matter where we are in the world.
I created this space for Indigenous women and women of color who are ready to embrace the world on their own terms. Like the Bougainvillea, I believe every woman deserves to live fearlessly, authentically, and boldly, blossoming into her fullest potential.
Whether traveling near or far, practical tips and advice are invaluable, especially when resources for women of color are often limited. At Bugamvilias, I aim to share empowering stories, practical advice, and real-life experiences from women reshaping the travel narrative. Whether traveling solo or with loved ones, exploring new cultures, or breaking down barriers, do so proudly.
This space is about more than just travel it’s about reclaiming personal power and living confidently and authentically. With the right mindset and resources, you can thrive, discovering new places, cultures, and parts of yourself, while embracing your own power along the way.
